BEHIND THE DESIGN.
When selecting products to display in our studio, we only want to offer materials that are timeless and not trendy, that never go out of style. Materials that only need restored over time and not replaced. We gathered inspirations from some of our favorite places we have visited, including The Biltmore, The Greenbrier and The Cloister. We love the gorgeous herringbone hardwood floors at The Biltmore, the timeless black and white checkered marble floors at The Greenbrier and the aged to perfection travertine floors at The Cloister. We then collaborated with our interior designer and created a boutique style, Ralph Lauren inspired floor design studio…SIMPLY QUARTERED.

MEET THE TEAM.
Chad Thompson
CEO
Chad is the CEO and founder of Simply Quartered. He has a degree in computer aided drafting and design, an extensive background in flooring manufacturing and distribution and more than 25 years of experience in the flooring industry. Chad successfully launched Thompson Contract in 2010 and recently rebranded in 2022 with the opening of Simply Quartered.
Keri Thompson
Studio Manager
Keri has played a critical role behind the scenes over the past 12 months in bringing our vision for our design studio to life. She has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and has over 15 years experience in quality control. While overseeing the buildout of our space, she has also been heavily involved in curating a product selection that provides an unmatched shopping experience for our clients. In addition to running the studio, she will be providing interior design services as well as handling our social media presence.
Grant Buford
Interior Design | Project Management
Grant is the newest addition to our team and brings 6+ years of interior design and project management experience. He has a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in marketing. He will be handling client selections, as well as utilizing design software to create renderings, elevations and floor plans.
